Terms of Use

1. Definitions

• "Service" means the Hintro software, desktop applications, website, and related services.
• "User" means an individual or entity using the Service.
• "Organization Account" means an account created on behalf of a company or team.
• "User Content" means audio input, transcripts, summaries, prompts, documents, or other data submitted or generated through the Service.
• "Third-Party Services" means platforms or services not owned or controlled by Hintro, including video conferencing tools, cloud providers, AI model providers, and payment gateways.

2. Service Description

Hintro is a real-time AI meeting assistant that provides:

• Live transcription
• Context-aware prompts and suggestions
• Post-call summaries and follow-up insights

Hintro is a decision-support tool only. It does not replace human judgment and does not guarantee outcomes in meetings, interviews, negotiations, or sales calls.

3. Eligibility & Authority

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms.

If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization, and the organization is responsible for all usage under its account.

4. Individual & Organization (B2B) Accounts

4.1 Organization Accounts

Organizations may:

• Create team workspaces
• Assign administrators
• Manage users and subscriptions

Administrators may access usage metadata (not private content unless explicitly authorized).

4.2 Responsibility

Organizations are responsible for:

• Actions of their users
• Legal compliance by employees, contractors, or agents
• Ensuring lawful and consensual use of the Service

5. Consent, Recording & Legal Compliance

You are solely responsible for:

• Obtaining all legally required consents from meeting participants
• Complying with local, national, and international recording, privacy, labor, and surveillance laws

Hintro does not determine whether consent is required and does not provide legal advice.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Misrepresent AI output as human speech
• Violate platform rules of Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, or similar services
• Reverse engineer, resell, or create competing products
• Use the Service for unlawful, deceptive, or abusive purposes

8. AI Output Disclaimer

All AI-generated outputs:

• Are probabilistic and may be inaccurate or incomplete
• Are provided "as-is"
• Must not be treated as legal, medical, financial, or professional advice

You remain fully responsible for decisions and statements made using the Service.

9. Experimental & Beta Features

Certain features may be released as beta or experimental features. These:

• May be unstable or change without notice
• Are provided without guarantees
• Are used at your own risk

Hintro is not liable for issues arising from beta features.

10. Data Usage, Privacy & Security

Hintro may process:

• Audio input (with permission)
• Transcripts and summaries
• Usage metadata (language, timestamps, duration)

For Organization Accounts, the organization owns its workspace data, and Hintro acts as a data processor.

11. Legal Requests & Disclosure

Hintro may disclose user data if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.

Where legally permitted, we will:

• Notify affected users
• Limit disclosure to the minimum required

12. Feedback & Suggestions

Any feedback, ideas, or suggestions you provide may be used by Hintro without restriction or compensation.

You grant Hintro a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide license to use such feedback for any purpose.

13. Payments, Billing & Subscriptions

• Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via supported payment gateways (e.g., Stripe, Razorpay).
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the billing cycle ends.
• Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
• Prices may exclude applicable taxes (GST, VAT, sales tax).

Pricing Errors

Hintro reserves the right to correct pricing errors and cancel affected subscriptions if necessary.

14. Third-Party Services

Hintro may rely on or integrate with Third-Party Services.

We are not responsible for:

• Downtime or failures of Third-Party Services
• Changes in third-party policies or availability

Use of Third-Party Services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

15. Intellectual Property

All software, branding, UI, and underlying systems are owned by Amsom Technologies Pvt. Ltd.

Users retain ownership of their User Content but grant Hintro a limited license to process such content to provide the Service.

You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, or create derivative products.

16. Copyright Infringement

If you believe content within the Service infringes your copyright, contact us with sufficient details to allow investigation and response.

17. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if:

• These Terms are violated
• The Service is misused
• Required by law

You may stop using the Service at any time. Upon termination, access ends and data may be deleted per the Privacy Policy.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Hintro is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Hintro is not liable for lost revenue, missed opportunities, or meeting outcomes
• Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the preceding 12 months

19. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hintro from claims arising from:

• Unlawful use
• Failure to obtain consent
• Violations by your team members
• Breach of applicable laws or third-party rights

20. Export & Sanctions Compliance

You may not use the Service if you are subject to international sanctions or export restrictions. You agree to comply with all applicable export control laws.

21. Force Majeure

Hintro is not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, internet outages, governmental actions, or third-party infrastructure failures.

22. Governing Law & Disputes

Unless required otherwise by applicable law:

• These Terms are governed by the laws of India
• Courts in Jaipur, Rajasthan shall have jurisdiction

Where permitted, disputes shall be resolved on an individual basis and not as part of a class action.

23. Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
