How Audio Capture Works

Understanding how Hintro accesses your meeting audio.

When you first install Hintro, we request permission to access system audio. This is required to capture meeting audio from any platform.

Audio capture only begins when you explicitly start a session. Outside of active sessions, Hintro does not access your microphone or system audio.

Initial audio processing happens locally on your device. Only processed data is sent to our secure servers for AI analysis.

When you end a session or close Hintro, all audio capture immediately stops. No background listening.
