"Send Me Information" Sales Objection: What to Say Next
When a buyer says "send me information," acknowledge the request and ask one short question about what would make the information useful. Then send the relevant material and agree on a next step only if the buyer wants one. Do not assume the request means either interest or rejection.
The scripts below are suggested wording, not tested conversion claims. They follow the principle of understanding the concern before answering it in HubSpot's objection-handling guide, checked October 1, 2026.
Start with a small clarification
A useful response is: "Sure. What would be most useful: how it works, pricing, or whether it fits your current setup?"
This gives the buyer a simple choice without turning an information request into another full pitch. If they name a topic, answer that topic. If they say they are busy, respect the time limit.
HubSpot's guide recommends tailoring information to the buyer's interests rather than sending a generic packet. That is source-backed advice, not proof that every buyer wants to keep talking.
Match the response to the situation
The buyer wants pricing
Try: "I can send the pricing details. Is this for your own use or a wider requirement, so I send the right explanation?"
Use only verified prices and limits. Do not invent a discount, promise a feature or estimate savings to keep the conversation alive. For Hintro, the current pricing page lists Lite at INR 499, Essential at INR 1,299 and Power at INR 2,599 per month, with plan limits to check.
The buyer wants to understand fit
Try: "I can send a short overview. Which part of your call workflow are you trying to change?"
Then choose material that answers the stated question. If the requested capability is not supported, say so before sending a broad brochure that might imply otherwise.
The buyer is ending the call
Try: "Understood. I'll keep it brief. Is there one topic you want covered, or would you prefer a general overview?"
If the buyer declines further questions, stop. A request for information does not authorize repeated calls or an assumed calendar meeting.
Keep the follow-up specific
A short follow-up can include the question the buyer asked, the answer or source that addresses it, and an optional next step. Do not claim a meeting was agreed unless it was.
For example: "You asked whether the tool can help during a live call. This page explains the workflow. If it fits what you need, we can compare it with your current setup."
That is an example, not a message to send unchanged to every buyer. See the sales-call follow-up guide for related advice.
Where a live copilot can help
Hintro's Boxy runs as a desktop app with a private overlay. A rep can invoke What to say next or Handle objection through Boxy Controls. A personal Knowledge Base supplies documents, quick notes and Custom Vocabulary for live answers.
Boxy supports native English, Hindi and Hinglish transcription plus Hinglish AI suggestions. For a Hinglish conversation, an example response is: "Sure, main short overview bhej deta hoon. Aapko pricing samajhni hai ya call ke during kaise help karta hai?" Adapt it to your own voice and the buyer's language.
This is an example of suggested wording, not an automatic email or CRM action. Boxy's stated after-call outputs are a summary, speaker-labeled downloadable transcript and AI Interactions log. See use cases, the FAQ and the Knowledge Base setup checklist for scope and preparation.
FAQ
Does "send me information" mean the buyer is not interested?
Not necessarily. It can be a genuine request or a way to end the call. Ask a brief clarifying question rather than diagnosing intent from the phrase alone.
Should I insist on booking a meeting first?
No. Offer a next step if it is useful, but respect the buyer's choice to review information without a meeting.
What if the requested feature is not available?
State the limitation plainly. Send material that reflects the current product, not an unsupported promise.
Does Boxy send the follow-up email?
No email-sending feature is claimed here. Boxy offers live guidance and after-call artifacts; the rep remains responsible for reviewing and sending any follow-up.
