Cresta vs Hintro: Contact Center Workflows or a Private Copilot?

Somya Shekhar Jain

Cresta Agent Assist and Hintro's Boxy both provide help during live conversations. Cresta emphasizes contact center guidance, source-backed knowledge, summaries and connections to telephony, CRM and knowledge systems. Boxy is Hintro's private desktop copilot with configurable prompt buttons. Evaluate Cresta when connected agent workflows are the requirement. Evaluate Boxy when the immediate need is personal live-call assistance rather than contact center administration.

This comparison uses official pages checked October 5, 2026. It is a scope comparison, not a benchmark of accuracy, latency or revenue impact.

What Cresta Agent Assist offers

Cresta's Agent Assist page describes behavioral guidance with live hints, reminders and workflows. Its Knowledge Agent combines conversation and on-screen context to provide source-backed answers during an interaction. Customizable AI summaries capture information after the call.

Cresta also describes integrations with telephony, chat, CRM and knowledge systems, plus support for digital-channel workflows. These are broader requirements than simply showing the rep a suggested phrase.

Its agent-assist guide explains the category and selection questions. Ask Cresta to demonstrate the actual integration, source controls and workflow your agents need. A vendor's example interface is not proof that your environment is already supported or configured.

Cresta's public page includes performance and customer-result claims. This article does not use those claims as a prediction for your business or as a direct comparison with Hintro.

What Boxy offers

Boxy by Hintro provides live transcription, contextual suggestions and configurable prompt buttons in a floating desktop copilot. The product page lists prompts such as Handle objection, Ask discovery question and Summarize so far, alongside custom prompts.

Hintro's homepage lists English, Hindi and Hinglish transcription. Notes and documents uploaded to a knowledge base personalize Boxy's suggestions. The product page describes post-call summaries, objections, follow-up actions and follow-up email content.

No Cresta-style telephony integration, CRM write-back, team administration or contact center workflow automation is claimed for Boxy here. See Hintro's use cases and FAQ for context.

Compare the source and action workflow

Ask what happens when a rep requests a product fact. Which document supports the answer? Can the rep inspect the source? What happens if the document is missing or outdated? Test one factual question and one objection in each demo, then compare the output with the original source.

Separately, ask whether the product only suggests wording or also performs a workflow action. A suggestion, a generated summary and a CRM update are different outputs. Do not buy an integration-heavy deployment when you only need live prompts, or assume live prompts can replace the workflows your operation requires.

These are suggested evaluation questions, not measured claims about either product. For another deployment comparison, read Ringover AIRO Coach vs Hintro. For personal document preparation, see the knowledge base setup guide.

Compare the actual quote

Hintro's pricing page currently lists Lite at USD 6, Essential at USD 15 and Power at USD 30 per month, with different call-hour and file limits. An equivalent Cresta deployment quote was not verified. No cheaper-product or total-cost claim is made.
